Infor is a multi-national privately held enterprise software company with headquarters in New York. GT Nexus, founded in 1998 in Oakland, California, is the world’s largest cloud-based global commerce platform. In 2015, Infor acquired GT Nexus and as a new combined company they needed a new space to accommodate both present and future growth. They selected the 7th floor of a high rise building in downtown Oakland. Their 24,000 sq ft office provides a variety of spaces to work and gather. The design includes 176 bench-style workstations, 11 private offices, four conference rooms seating 10-12, plus six huddle rooms that accommodates 4-6 people. Also included in the design is an extra-large meeting/training space with an operable partition to accommodate 35-40 people, a sound studio with theater lighting, a green screen and sound dampening, plus an employee breakroom and social room.
