Triangle Court

Triangle Court is a four building, twenty-unit affordable housing development owned and managed by Resources for Community Development. The project, completed in 1993, was designed by Kava prior to the founding of Kava Massih Architects. In 2012, we were asked by RCD to help with a renovation of the complex to include the complete replacement of windows and siding, as well as other upgrades as budget allowed. We provided pro-bono services to help with the design, permitting and construction administration of the work. We worked with the General Contractor, Oliver and Company, to select materials, address water-proofing concerns and schedule the work to minimize impact to the existing residents who remained in their units during the renovation. We also helped RCD review potential accessibility issues arising from public funding sources.

Construction began in September of 2012 and was completed in February of 2013.
