Chiron E-Café

The Chiron E-Café is a 3,100-square-foot renovation of an existing corporate dining center. The client’s goals for the project were to reconfigure their cafeteria to increase food service productivity, augment seating, and enhance the quality of the space. To achieve those goals, we removed an existing mezzanine, doubling the ceiling height in the main dining area. The rest of the building is configured around the double height volume with curvilinear walls that direct patrons toward the food service area, restrooms, and seating. This clean and simple design is emphasized by various yellow-toned surfaces, red plywood, and stainless steel details. The materials and forms create a consistent feel throughout the spaces.
