The Center for Elder’s Independence (CEI), a non-profit organization providing senior care in the East Bay, is the primary tenant of this historic building located in downtown Oakland. We have renovated the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor offices, and are currently renovating the ground floor lobby space and restoring the building façade.

The 2,000 sq ft ground floor space was once a night club. We have redesigned the space to include a waiting room, reception desk, offices and conference room. The new reception is clean and modern and fitting for this well-established non-profit organization.

To restore the building façade on this 1923 building, the existing bar sign and canopy were removed and the terra cotta and brick columns were be restored.
