The Global Montessori International School offers a Bilingual Montessori-style approach to education, for children ages 2 through 12.

To convert this 8,600 former office space into an educational facility for three different age groups, we demolished most of the interior partition to create three spacious rooms for classrooms. In keeping with the school’s Montessori teaching philosophy, shelves were built in to the classroom so that all materials are easily accessible to the students to allow them to select the work that interests them the most.

The scope of work included a lobby, principal’s office, a kitchen, a library and a multi-purpose room for music and kung-fu classes. Outside of the classrooms is a playground and garden for both organized and informal outdoor play and activities. Outdoor spaces were designed with a basketball court, artificial turf for soccer and a play structure area for young children. A planter area is located along the perimeter of the fence. We also provided seismic upgrades, child size toilets, an ADA unisex toilet, a drinking fountain and an accessible ramp with automatic door.
