CT Scan and Reading Core

In this project, we designed space for a new high speed spiral CT scanner. As part of the of the comprehensive renovation to the radiology department, the core and physicians’ reading spaces were also improved. Six new reading stations and four new automated viewing devices centralize the department’s films with the physicians, serving as the “heart” of the department.

Construction for the project had to be phased to keep the department operational. The area of renovation was approximately 2,800 sq ft.
