Glashaus Lofts
Location: Emeryville, CA
Developer: Pulte Homes, Inc.
Completion: June 2008
Glashaus Lofts is a 145-unit condominium project in Emeryville, organized around landscaped semi-public courts, walkways and drive aisles creating a cohesive community-oriented development. This infill project was built on the former site of a glass factory. The exterior exudes the industrial look of the warehouse and factories that were once Emeryville, but the interiors are loft-style living spaces with modern amenities. All units are fitted out in sleek, modern style with gourmet kitchens, bamboo flooring, and large windows that admit light, but damper street noise. A secure parking garage provides residents with deeded parking space.
The project consists of 73 3-story, two-bedroom townhouse units in eleven buildings. A further 72 units are located in a 4-story, plus basement, podium building with two levels of parking and 3 levels of housing. Podium units are a mixture of 1 story flats and 2/3 story townhouses.
